In 2007 a crack commando unit of four teachers from West Sussex had the idea of completing the Mongol Rally. These men promptly escaped from all sense of practicalities and decided to tackle the 2008 Rally in a Bedford Bambi. Today still wanted by the levels of reason they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you want to know more, if no-one else can help and if you can find them, maybe you can hire - the U42b Team!

 NEW!Update....

Finally we have found an internet connection quick enough to update the website. It's been a hectic few weeks which has included breaking the van key on the start line in Hyde Park, having to bump start the van onto the ferry, driving non-stop to Prague, a night out with the Ukranian mafia, breaking down in Kazakhstan, snakes scorpions and molotov cocktails in the Kazak desert, some amazing off-roading in Kazak, being run off the road by Kazak bandits, our faith in humanity being restored with some great mechanics in Kazak who fixed one of the vans for free and now we are in Astana chilling for the evening before we head for the Russian border tomorrow. A very brief summary which we will update when we return with more details and pictures/video from the rally.

NEW!U42b team map. Here we will upload pictures and videos to the various landmarks we visit. Just click on the landmark and then double-click on the image to see the selection of pictures from that place.
